Testing the SAM R21 Xplained Pro

These are a few tests I made with the SAM R21 Xplained Pro and an Xbee. The examples were generated from the Atmel Studio IEEE 802.15.4 MAC Wireless Wizard, with a few extra modifications (since they did not compile). The entire Atmel Studio projects used are available in the download area (tested with ASF v3.22.0).

The tests include: sending, sending and receiving, reading LQI, and transmitting values read from the ADC.

a xbee serie 2 ? I’m not being able to communicate with it.

Yes it’s possible. That’s what this post shows (I guess). Do you have any specific details as to what is happening when you try?

Nice work, do you know if the XBEE PRO S1 can communicate with the SAM R21 Xplained Pro?

I’ve never tried the Xbee Pro. My understanding was that the difference with a regular Xbee was the range (the protocol was the same). If that’s true, then, they should be able to communicate just fine.
